Located on the first floor of the Jackson Library is the Inspiration Commons. This three-part creative workspace allows for the incubation of powerful ideas in an open, collaborative environment. A large presentation space,The Hub, features large whiteboard and cork board panels for brainstorming along with an 80-inch display with lots of connectivity for students, faculty, and guests. The Digital Design Classroom houses 11 workstations with an expansive menu of applications for 2D/3D design, electronic music and video production, and digital photography. The Fabrication Studio houses all the equipment necessary to take student designs to their tangible form. Prototyping materials utilizing 3D printers, a laser cutter, CNC router, vinyl cutter, and various hand tools are all available for student and faculty use on a scheduled and flexible basis. Staff members are available for hands-on instruction and design coaching throughout the school day.
